Particularly during the cold month season, Flu is a major danger and although authorities in Saudi do not yet require proof of immunization flu is a serious danger to pilgrims and I would highly desire those in an at risk group to consider vaccination before they travel.
Dr Shuja Shafi, Wellness & Medical Committee (seat) spiritual care advisory panel of the Islamic Government bodies of England and Wellness security organization adviser said “pilgrims are advised to make sure that arrangements for Hajj should include all possible safety actions to keep in good health and execute all the traditions of the Hajj. They should search for guidance on appropriate immunizations and search for advice from their physician for current health circumstances. By doing this they will not only secure themselves from attacks, but also avoid moving them on to other pilgrims. Accountable trip providers must motivate and make sure that pilgrims have followed such advice.
